(Produced in Italy or France before 2003)

FAULT CODE WHAT IT MEANS WHAT TO DO
F1E2
Electronic card damaged. One minute after appliance switched on
Replace card
F3E0
Temprature sensor short circuit. One minute after appliance switched on
Check Temp probe, replace it if the resistance is 0 ohms. Replace electronic card. After every test carry out procedure B
F3E3
Tempratre sensor open circuit. One minute after appliance is switched on.
Check temp probe is connected. Check resistance is below 2 ohms. Replace electronic card. After every test carry out procedure B
F4E0
Electronic card damaged. One minute after appliance switched on
Replace card
F5E2 The oven temperature is above 325°C
Check temp probe is fitted to the rear of the oven. Check wiring . With switch in 0 position Check that PT1 and PT2 are not shorting out if so replace the card
F8E0 Temp regulating potentiometer faulty
Check continuity between potentiometer and card,
FFFF
Unknown fault as soon as appliance is switched on
Replace card
00° The display shows 00 rotating the switch on one or two of the 7 functions
Check terminal connections 7 - 12

FAULT CODE WHAT IT MEANS WHAT TO DO
F01

Temperature sensor short circuit

If thermostat prob is 0 ohms replace it, replace display board, replace power board, After each operation execute procedure C
F02
Thermostat disconnected or open circuit

Check terminal connections on J9 & J10.If the resistance of temp probe is above 2 kW replace it. Replace display board, replace power board, After each operation execute procedure C
F03
Short circuit to temp probe or card

Replace display board, replace power board

F04
Open circuit to temp probe or card

Replace display board, replace power board

F05 Surrounding temperature too high (>75°C)

Check the cooling fan.Select any cooking function and see if the fan comes on after a few moments. Check terminals J9 & J10 on power board. Replace the display card then the power board and finally the probe

F06 Centre oven temp too high during cooking(>325°C)
regulating potentiometer faulty
Check temp prob and connections check module connections J9 & J10. Complete procedure C after each test

F07
Centre oven temp too high during fast clean (>525°C)

Check temp prob and connections check module connections J9 & J10. Complete procedure C after each test

F08 The door doesn't lock Check the oven door is properly closed. Replace locking mechanism, replace modules - display and then power.
F09 The door doesn't lock
Check oven temp is below 200°C after fast clean. Replace locking mechanism, replace modules - display and then power.
W01
Checksum added reciept error
Replace display module
W02 EEPROM communication error
Replace display module
W03 The door doesn't lock
Check the oven door is properly closed. Replace locking mechanism, replace modules - display and then power.
W04 The door doesn't lock
Check oven temp is below 200°C after fast clean. Replace locking mechanism, replace modules - display and then power.

       Procedure A

  1. Disconnect the oven and wait 15-20 seconds to allow the module to completely discharge
  2. Reconnect the oven, the timer should flash 0.00 and within 2 - 3 seconds it should enter into the diagnostic mode, continually press knob 4 until all the segments on the display are switched on.
  3. Press knob 4 three more times
  4. The display should now show a temperature between 40°C and 250°C depending on the position of knob C
  5. Turn knob C to the MIN setting and within 5 seconds the temperature should read 40°C
  6. Turn knob C to the MAX setting and within 5 seconds the temperature should read 250°C
  7. If test 5 or 6 fail then replace the potentiometer and repeat procedures from 1 to 6 again.
  8. Should the test still fail refit original potentiometer and replace module and repeat procedure from 1 to 6 again
  9. If the test fails again refit the new potentiometer with the new module.
  10. Press knob one to exit the diagnostic state.

       Procedure B

  3. Press knob 4 four more times
  4. The fault is eliminated if the display shows the correct oven temperature
  5. Press knob one to exit the diagnostic mode

      Procedure C

  1. Turn the oven off (Only the current time must remain on display)
  2. Press the following keys in rapid succession 1 - 2 - 1 - 2 - 1 - 2 - 4
  3. When' TEST' appears press key 3
  4. (a) If the probe function is OK the oven temperature will be displayed
(b) If there is a short circuit in the probe or associated components the display will show '0'
(c) If there is an open circuit or bad connection in the probe or associated components the display will show '583'
