Large internal filter
(Condensing Tumble Dryer)
The large filter in a condensing tumble dryer does not need to be cleaned out as often as the nylon filters do but they do need cleaning every month or so to keep the appliance in good working order. Unlike conventional filters the best way to clean them is to hose them through, it is by far the quickest and easiest way to remove all the built up fibres within the channels. This photo is just to identify the filter, you will not need to remove any parts to get to it but it may well be behind a drop down flap of some sort.
